Obituary of Deborah Snoddy Bass

Deborah (Snoddy) Bass, 60, of Gallatin,TN, passed away 1/6/2021. Deborah was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend. She loved deeply and broadly. She lived to care for others. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Deborah became physically disabled in 1998, but this did not stop her from making a difference in this world. God had a purpose for her that she found and lived out for others. Her most important goal in life was to make sure everyone heard the word of God and became a believer in Jesus. She loved her caregivers and true friends at The Waters of Gallatin, who have been loving, kind, caring and a big part of her family. They made her life infinitely better. She was born April 1960 in Gallatin, TN to Ella and William (Bill) Snoddy. She was a graduate of Gallatin High School and Volunteer State Community College. She was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Snoddy, and recently aunts Sarah Pendarvis and Ida Moree, and her uncle Arlon. She is survived by her mother, Ella M. Snoddy who turned 91 the day of Deborah’s passing, her sister Pamela (Snoddy) Owen and her husband Rick Owen, her uncle Maurice Pendarvis, cousins Jaedon Harrison and Maria Corlew, and many other loving cousins and friends. Visitation will be at Family Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday January 10th between 12 noon and 2 pm, with the funeral service at Family Heritage at 2 pm, with Bro. James Bell officiating.
