Obituary of Anna Lois Claiborne

Ms. Anna Lois Claiborne, age 88, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at The Palace Care and Rehabilitation. Funeral services for Anna Lois Claiborne are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 11 AM from The Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Dean Dyer and Elder Jason Wheely officiating. Interment will follow in the Underwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, from 4 PM until 8 PM and on Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at 11 AM. The family request donations be made to the Annie Butler Scholarship Fund. Anna Lois Claiborne was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Claiborne; parents, Dewey West and Ercie Doss West; brother, Harold West. She is survived by; Son, Jimmy Claiborne and wife, Lisa Brothers, Billy West and wife, Sue Kermice West Sister, Melba Anderson Grandchildren, Spenser Claiborne and wife, Kathryn Jared Claiborne and wife, Mary Anne Great-Grandchildren, Rex Arthur Claiborne Henry Wright Claiborne
