I knew Linda and Paul just as sweet neighbors and distant cousins to Riley. She brought us peaches last summer off of their trees. She was always friendly and kind. Linda will be missed on our lane.

Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Kirby, I get the sense that her daughter, Elizabeth, shares many qualities with her. Elizabeth is always a bright spot in my life! I am so thankful for Elizabeth and I am so sorry to the whole family for their loss.

I have so many memories of my Linda that this page cannot contain them all. My sister-in-law, neighbor, psychiatrist, fellow church member, baby/wedding shower assistant, decorating adviser, shopping buddy, chauffeur, shoulder to cry on which I need so badly right now and anything/everything I ever asked or needed from her. For the past 42 years you have been by my side; with Gary and I during the birth of our children, my medical issues, Gary's sickness, surgeries and death, my mama's illness and death and countless other issues that I needed support. God has given me strength that I never could imagine I possessed and He knows I will need Him more in the days ahead. I cannot imagine my life without you poking your head through my back door or waves from your deck or as you are pulling out of your driveway. I have been so Blessed having you and the entire Kirby clan as part of my life. My eyes are streaming down my face and my heart feels like it is breaking into pieces and I am dreading our last farewell that will becoming in a few hours. I loved you so!!! But words you would say to me so many, many times: THIS TOO WILL PASS.

I can still remember Linda bringing Elizabeth and Rusty to store and the enjoyment of my parents getting to see the kids and Linda. Linda was always good to me and always spoke will miss her prayers to all of her family she will be greately missed .One of the memories I will always remember hearing there was a co-worker where we worked at saying she was so upset her car had got hit ,Linda,said why are so upset it was just a car no one got hurt ,letting her know a car can be replaced a life couldn't .
