Obituary of Jo Ann Brown

Jo Ann Brown, age 81 of Westmoreland, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Funeral Service will be Sunday, January 24th at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Brandt Waggoner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, January 24th from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Church, 1660 Leeville Pike, Lebanon, TN 37090. The family respectfully asks that everyone who attends the visitation or funeral service wear a mask, if you do not have a mask, they are available at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown was born January 10, 1940 in Bethpage to the late Harry H. Carter and Carleen Coley Carter. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by daughter, Sgt. Rhonda C. Brown Morales; 2 grandchildren, Ariel Morales and Kevin Eidson; and sister, Margaret Robinson. She is survived by daughters, Janet Keen of Westmoreland, Joni D. Melton of Bethpage, Billie Graves of Lebanon, and Carla Walker (Barry) of Chicago, IL; brothers, Jerry Carter (Anna) of Westmoreland and Thomas Carter of Westmoreland; sisters, Nancy Green (Crick) of Gallatin, Jewel “Judy” Hunter (Buddy) of Gallatin, Linda Creasy (Danny) of Westmoreland, Darlean McDougal (Steve) of Gallatin, Dotty Mayhew of Bethpage, and Mary Morris (Richard) of Westmoreland; 7 grandchildren, Brian Edens (Tamera), Jessica Henderson (Peyton), Jolene Deville, Jayme Powell (Jayc), Tara Meza-MacDonald, Nicole Riggs (Mathew), and Michael Harman; 10 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
