Obituary of Carrie Louise Newgarden-Gaudioso

Surrounded by her family, Carrie Louise Newgarden-Gaudioso passed away at home Tuesday, January 19, 2021 after a 6- month battle with Glioblastoma. She was born January 23, 1977 in Miami, Florida to Leta and the late Joseph Newgarden, Jr. Carrie began college at Oklahoma City University and graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in the arts. Carrie was a free spirit and talented dancer, who had a heart for animals. She operated a pet-sitting business in Williamson County, worked as a massage therapist and at Plant Partners at Home Depot. She enjoyed working in her garden and participating in classes at Prairie Life Fitness and the Franklin Athletic Club. Carrie’s outgoing and friendly nature endeared her to her many friends. She provided a wonderful home for numerous fur babies over the years. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Edgar Newgarden, Jr. She is survived by her mother Leta Newgarden, her sisters, Margaret Jordan (Russ), Jena Newgarden, Joleta Crook (Cody), half-siblings Nancy Putnam (Andy), Marion Nadeau (Jack), Alice Newgarden, Teri Wilkes (Whitt), Joey Newgarden, her aunt, Grace Ahlquist, cousins, Jodi Pirrello, Jeff Ahlquist, Jack Newgarden, her boyfriend, Taylor Wells, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Throughout her illness, Carrie’s mother along with Margaret, Jena and Joleta were by her side and caring for her at home. The family would like to thank Alive Hospice for their professionalism and dignity in the care they provided. Funeral arrangements are yet to be made.
