Obituary of Selma Lou Ray

Ms. Selma Sullivan Ray, age 85, of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Private graveside services for Selma Ray will be scheduled at a later date. Visitation will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, February 11, 2021, from 4 PM until 7 PM. The family requests that donations be made to the Fairview Cemetery. The family requires that anyone that plans to attend the visitation to please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Selma Sullivan Ray was preceded in death by her parents, Walter “Woodrow” Sullivan, and Charlie “Emma” Sloan Sullivan; husband, Garrett Ray; daughter, Melinda Templeton; brothers, Floyd Sullivan, and Stanley Sullivan; sister, Flossie Dyer. She is survived by; Daughter, Melissa Lackey and husband, Kenneth Step-daughter, Patricia Frillman and husband, Al Sister, Lollie Scruggs and husband, Earl Grandchildren, Stephen Lackey, and Ada Laurie Bechler Step-grandson, Allan Frillman
