Obituary of Risey B Scruggs

Mr. Risey B. Scruggs, age 98 of Hartsville, TN passed away Thursday evening, February 18, 2021 at his home. Mr. Scruggs was an 80 year Member of Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, William Franklin & Darthula Montgomery Scruggs; Wife, Laura Scruggs; Daughter, Linda Kay Scruggs; Son, Hank Scruggs; 8 Brothers, 2 Sisters and Great Grandchild, Bailey Donoho. Survived by: Son, Roy “Hoppy” (Linda) Scruggs; 5 Daughters, Jean Donoho, Aileen (Garry) Leath, Billie (Joe) Porter, Cathy Bush & Glenda Scruggs; Daughter-in-Law, Carol Scruggs; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021 conducted by Bro. Dean Dyer and Bro. Joe Porter. Interment will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 to 8 PM Sunday, 4 to 8 PM Tuesday and 9 AM until service time Wednesday.
