Obituary of Risey B Scruggs

Mr. Risey B Scruggs, age 98, of Hartsville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021, at his residence. Funeral services for Risey B Scruggs are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at 1 PM from The Chapel of Anthony Funeral Home in Hartsville Tennessee with Elder Dean Dyer and Brother Joe Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation with the family will begin at Anthony Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21, 2021, from 12 PM until 8 PM and on Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 4 PM until 8 PM and on Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 9 AM until service time at 1 PM. Risey B Scruggs was preceded in death by his Wife, Laura Scruggs; Parents, William Franklin and Darthula Montgomery Scruggs; Daughter Linda Kay Scruggs; Son, Hank Scruggs; 8 Brothers, 2 sisters and Great-Grandchild Bailey Donoho. He is survived by; Son, Roy “Hoppy” Scruggs and wife, Linda Daughters, Jean Donoho Alieen Leath and husband, Garry Billie Porter and husband, Joe Cathy Bush Glenda Scruggs Daughter in law, Carol Scruggs Eleven Grandchildren, fifteen Great-Grandchildren and eight Great – Great- Grandchildren also survive.
