Obituary of Larry Grady Turnbow

Mr. Larry Grady Turnbow, age 74 of Hartsville, TN passed away Saturday evening, February 20, 2021 at St. Thomas West, Nashville, TN. Larry served on the Hartsville Police Department for 17years as an Officer and then as Police Chief. He then worked as a Criminal Investigator for the 15th Judicial District Public Defenders Office. Preceded in death by: Parents, Leslie Ezra & Margaret Elizabeth Turnbow; Daughter, Amanda Kay Turnbow and Brother, Jerry Turnbow. Survived by: Wife, Joanne Turnbow-Hartsville, TN; 2 Daughters, Fran (Michael) Lane-Hendersonville, TN & Amy (Jeff) Wyatt-Murfreesboro, TN; 3 Grandchildren, Tanner Lane, Addison Wyatt & Anslee Wyatt and Sister, Sandra Taylor-Hartsville, TN. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anthony Funeral Home at 1 PM Thursday, February 25 2021 conducted by Bro. Jack McCall. Interment Hartsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM until service time Thursday. Masonic services will be held at 6 PM Wednesday evening. Memorial donations may be made to the TCHS Baseball Team. Family request that everyone attending services to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
