Obituary of Brent Micheal Baker

Brent Micheal “Spider” Baker, age 58 of Lafayette, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. Funeral Service will be Friday, March 12th at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, March 11th from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Friday, March 12th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Randy Kemp, Dale Allen, Jason Harris, John Sciarra, Mark Carroll, and Tim Jones serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brett Baker and Ray Jones. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Family Heritage Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. Mr. Baker was born October 17, 1962 in Bay City, MI. He is preceded in death by mother, Lynnette Groulx Baker; and grandson, Colton Jones. He is survived by wife of 13 years, Marnita Green Baker of Lafayette; father, John Joseph Baker, Jr. (Christina) of Michigan; sons, Brett Baker (Whitney) of Arkansas, Ray Jones (Brooklyn) of Westmoreland, and Timothy Jones (Lindsey) of Gallatin; brothers, Bradley “Bears” Baker of Colorado and Brian “Boo” Baker (Lorie) of Texas; step-brothers, Brian Wisneski (Julie) of California, Joseph Wisneski (Kim) of Colorado, and Gregory Wisneski (Jennifer) of Michigan; 9 grandchildren, Kamdyn Mask, Khy Butler, Bravery Baker, Brileigh Baker, Braelynn Baker, Hunter Ray Jones, Johnny Wayne Jones, Andrew Jones, and Thomas Jones; mother-in-law, Barbara Green of Lafayette; sisters-in-law, Pam Harris (John) of Bethpage and Cathy Lowe of Bethpage; and a host of nieces and nephews.
