Obituary of Mr. James Earl Pearson

Mr. James Earl Pearson, age 85 of Portland, TN passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Pearson was born June 20, 1933 in Sumner Co., TN the son of the late Ezra and Effie Pearson. Mr. Pearson is survived by his three sons, Mike Pearson of Adolphus, KY, Mark Pearson (Janie) of Gallatin, TN and Kevin Pearson (Lisa) of Westmoreland, TN. A brother, Ed Pearson of Portland, TN. A sister, Shirley Williams of Gallatin, TN. Six grandchildren; Amy Jo Villarreal, Amber Dawn Pearson, Kaitlin Ryder, Callie Pearson, Kiana Marie Pearson and James Pearson Jr. and 4 great grandchildren. James was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church and an Army veteran. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sherron Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Military rites will be held at the graveside Wednesday. Pallbearers will be; Tyler Gregory, James Pearson Jr., Nate Gregory, Eddie Pearson, Steve Perdue and Jeff Pearson.
