Obituary of Mr. Ralph Eugene Denton

Mr. Ralph Eugene Denton, age 76 of Portland, TN passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Denton was born July 26, 1941 in Nashville, TN the son of the late Christopher and Sarah Elizabeth Denton. Mr. Denton is survived his wife, Trudy Denton of Portland, TN. A son, Robert Keith Denton of Tennessee. A daughter, Karen Denton-Watson (Darren) of Dunedin, FL. Two step-daughters, Kelly Travis (Louis) of Gary, IN and Kimberly Suarez-Pennington of Indiana. Two brothers, Jerry and Ronnie Denton both of Tennessee also several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Mr. Denton was preceded in death by a brother, John Denton. Ralph was a member of First Baptist Church in Portland, TN. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Portland, TN. The family will receive visitors and friends from 9:00 AM until service time Tuesday at First Baptist Church.
