Obituary of Mrs. Patty Jean Davis

Mrs. Patty Jean Davis, age 68 of Portland, TN passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 in Shelbyville, TN. Mrs. Davis was born January 4, 1950 in Lafayette, TN the daughter of the late Johnny and Elizabeth Duffer. Mrs. Davis is survived by four daughters, Ruby Baird, Pam Wix, Brenda Wix and Dana Wix all of Portland, TN. Two brothers, Jessie "Poochie" Sanders of Cookeville, TN and Bo Sanders of Macon County, TN. Four sisters, Mary Ann Ashmore, Bonnie Sheffield, Teresa Smart and Darlene Sto all of Indianapolis, IN. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Patty was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Jack Duffer. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday and from 9:00 AM until service time Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
