Obituary of Mr. Donald Edward Murphy

Mr. Donald Murphy, age 83 of Portland, TN., passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Signature Health Care in Portland. Mr. Murphy was born July 23, 1934 in Wayland, KY the son of the late Charles and Lillian Murphy. Mr. Murphy is survived by a step-son, James P. Sexton (Bridget) of Madisonville, KY. A step-daughter, Pamela Sexton of Lexington, KY. Three grandchildren, Jacquelyn Branham (Rafael Prieto), Stephen Branham and Margo Branham (Casey Martin). Two great-grandchildren, Ellie and Tate Branham-Martin. Two nephews, Jimmy and Johnny Murphy along with several other nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Murphy. Mr. Murphy was a veteran of the United States Army. Cremation has been chosen by Mr. Murphy. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Robertson County.
