Obituary of Mr. Arlen Gene Fishburn

Mr. Arlen Gene "K-9" "Fish" Fishburn, age 76 of Portland, TN., passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Fishburn was born June 22, 1941 in Lafayette, TN the son of the late Arlen and Ida Fishburn. Mr. Fishburn is survived by his wife, Marion Fishburn of Portland, TN. Two daughters, Cindy Pearson (Larry) and Christy Fishburn both of Portland, TN. A brother, James Fishburn (Elizabeth) of Portland, TN. Thirteen grandchildren; Misty Pearson, Chad Pearson (Kendra), Dustin Pearson, Latasha Pearson, Ashley Wix, Jeremiah Pearson (Brittany), Chase Pearson, Baby Pearson, Lacey Pearson, Kristin Pearson, Destiny Pearson, Brandi Kirby (Brandon) and Tequila Fishburn. 29 great grandchildren. Gene was a retired furniture upholster, a member of the Masons, and a veteran of the United States Army where he was a rifle sharp shooter and MP. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Bro. Ricky Morris and Bro Tim Medrono will officiate.
