Obituary of Bobbie Dickens

Bobbie Dickens passed away on March 20, 2024 at age 71.  The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m.

               Bobbie Sue Hubbard Dickens was born in Macon County TN to Ruby D. Stubblefield and Carl Hubbard. She married David Dickens and embarked on a life long journey of making a home and taking care of her family. She loved being surrounded by her family and her pets. She enjoyed cooking big meals and took pride in special occasions. Visiting Mennonites in Kentucky was a favorite hobby. Bobbie would try to clear the schedule for her favorite show, NCIS.

               Mrs. Dickens is survived by her husband of 40 years, David Dickens; children: Walter Neal Jr. and Teresa Leduc; grandchildren: Jordan Swindle, Brianna Taylor, Austin Neal, Dylan Neal, and Kelsey Leduc; siblings: Triba Butcher, Carlene Cherry, and Donnie Hubbard; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Ruby and Carl Hubbard, brothers Charles Hubbard and Douglas Hubbard, and sisters Leatrice Ark, Peggy Taylor, Helen King, and Mary Hardin.
