Obituary of Ruth McCullen

Ruth McCullen age 90 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016. Funeral Service has been changed due to weather to Thursday, January 28th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Wert Campbell officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until time of service. Interment will follow in Bethpage Upper Cemetery with family serving as pallbearers. Mrs. McCullen was born February 28, 1925 in Sumner County, TN, daughter of the late William Bates Overton and Ethel Story Overton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Robert Glenn McCullen; brothers, Bates Overton, Bolton Overton, Wardean Overton, Eugene Overton and Jack Overton; sisters, Jewel Lovelady and Willene King. She is survived by grandson, Jason McCullen (Pam), granddaughters, Wendy Ring (Tyler), Kristi Sweeney (Jimmy) and Joy Bray (Casey); great grandchildren, Erin Schroeder, Eric McCullen, Alex McCullen, Hope Ring, Haley Ring, Luke Ring, Heidi Ring, Lily Bray, Jessie Bray, Hannah Bray and Brooke Bray.
