Obituary of Douglas Brown

Douglas Brown, age 75 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday January 24, 2016. Funeral Service will be Friday January 29th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Nick Baskerville officiating. Interment will follow at Bush’s Chapel Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday January 28th from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday January 29th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mr. Brown was born September 13, 1940 in Sumner County to the late Clarence Brown and Minnie Young Brown. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brown. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Virginia Troutt Brown; son, Joe Brown (Cecilia) of Gallatin; daughter, Vicky Roberts of Gallatin; 7 grandchildren, Ashley Brown (Jason), Jessica Perry (Michael), Brittany Brown (Jacob) Brandon Denson (Jordan), Logan Brown, Maddie Brown, and Macy Brown; and 7 great grandchildren.
