Obituary of David S. Woodard

David S. Woodard, age 76 of Portland, passed away Friday August 26, 2016. Funeral Service will be Sunday August 28th at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. W.T. Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Eulia Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday August 27th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Sunday August 28th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Woodard was born March 4, 1940 in Sumner County to the late Willie Woodard and Bessie Louise Shaw Woodard. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Faye Woodard of Portland; son, Chris Woodard of Gallatin; daughter, Vanessa Turley (Jeff) of Cross Plains; sister, Nancy Robinson of Gallatin; grandchildren, Bethany Graves and Matthew Graves; and great grandchild, Leah “Rosie” Stradtner.
