Obituary of Billie Keen Johnson

Mr. Bill K. Johnson, age 88, of Lafayette, passed away Sunday morning, September 25, 2016, at Knollwood Manor in Lafayette. Funeral services for Mr. Bill K. Johnson are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 2 PM from the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Ricky Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will begin at the church on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 2 PM until 8 PM and on Wednesday, from 10 AM until 1 PM. There will be a Masonic Service conducted at the church on Tuesday evening, September 27, 2016, at 7 PM by Lodge 543 F&AM. Family is requesting memorials in the form of donations be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital or the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund. Those donations can be made at Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette. Mr. Bill K. Johnson is survived by: Wife, Opal W. Johnson Daughter, Karen Cooper and husband, David Son, Chris A. Johnson and wife, Debbie Grandchildren, Neil O. Cooper, Meredith C. Storrs, Christina A. Cooper, Greg A. Johnson, and Sam K. Johnson Great Grandchildren, Bradly Cooper, Dylan Cooper, Eloise Storrs, and Anderson Storrs One niece, six nephews, and a host of friends also survive. Alexander Funeral Home, Lafayette, in charge of arrangements.
