Obituary of Gayle Thompson

Gayle Thompson, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday January 12, 2017. Funeral Service will be Saturday January 14th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Ralph Rupe officiating. Interment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday January 13th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday January 14th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Thompson was born November 16, 1942 in Sumner County to the late Marlin Belt and Virginia Mae Bowles Belt. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Jimbo Thompson; daughter, Laurie Thompson; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters. She is survived by son, Stacey Thompson (Stacey) of Gallatin; sisters, Marlene Johnson (Mark) of Gallatin and Debra Troutt of Bethpage; niece, Amanda Belt of Gallatin; and 3 grandchildren, Brittany Thompson, Stewart Thompson, and Cassie Thompson.
