Obituary of Jonathan "John" Harper

Mr. Jonathan “John” Harper, age 67, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. John Harper are scheduled to be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 2 PM from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Brother Jonathan Marsh and Brother Lawrence Gilliam officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Macon County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin with the family at Alexander Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, from 6 PM until 9 PM, Wednesday, 9 AM until 9 PM, and on Thursday, from 9 AM until service time at 2 PM. There will be a Masonic Service conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday evening, January 25, 2017, at 7 PM by Lodge 543 F&AM. Family is requesting memorial contributions in the form of donations be made to the youth group at Maple Grove General Baptist Church. Mr. John Harper is survived by; Wife, Darlene Harper Son, Richard L. Harper Brothers, Toney Harper Leslie Harper and wife, Wanda Sister, Mary Miller Granddaughter, Dana Harper Grandson, Jaxon Leonard
