Obituary of Dewey A. Gregory

Dewey A. Gregory, age 73 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017. Funeral Service will be Monday, February 13th at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Ronnie Kidd officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, February 12th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, February 13th from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Gentry Roberts, Brandon Polson, Ryan Sherron, Daniel Abernathy, Shannon McCormick, and Jacob Polson serving as pallbearers. Mr. Gregory was born July 7, 1943 in Sumner County to the late Allen W. Gregory and Katherine F. Meador Gregory. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Allen Gregory; great granddaughter, Jasmine McCormick; brother, Donald Peyton Gregory; and sisters, Dorothy Brown and June Carr. Mr. Gregory is survived by wife of 56 years, Annette Parker Gregory of Gallatin; daughters, Lora Loraine Roberts of Estill Springs, TN and Phyllis Elaine Stafford (Jack) of Westmoreland; sister, Alma Frances Cherry of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Abernathy (Daniel), Erin McCormick (Shannon), Gentry Roberts, Brandon Polson (Tara), Ryan Sherron (Stephanie), and Marisa Roberts; 13 great grandchildren; and special family friend, Charlie Swaney of Gallatin Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.
