Obituary of Lottie Tucker Ausbrooks

Lottie Tucker Ausbrooks, age 94 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Johnny Tucker and Bro. Don Craighead officiating. Visitation will be Monday, February 20th from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, February 21st from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Trey Ausbrooks, Wilson Troutt, Bubba Tucker, Paul Glenn Ferguson, Mark Tucker, and Rod Tucker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are James Tucker, Roger Holland, and Thomas Shrum. Mrs. Ausbrooks was born July 18, 1922 in Sumner County to the late Saint Andrew Tucker, Sr. and Betty Meador Tucker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Denver Dale Ausbrooks; brothers, Robert Tucker, Marion Tucker, Charlie Tucker, Ray Tucker, S. A. “Shine” Tucker, Jr, and A. C. Tucker; and sisters, Navada Downs and Sarah Kathrine Gammons. She is survived by son, Denver Dale “D.D.” Ausbrooks II of Gallatin; daughters, Dale Goad of Gallatin and Sue Parsley of Murfreesboro; brother, James Tucker of Gallatin; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Parsley Smith (Kenneth), Kimberly Parsley Baker, Denver Dale “Trey” Ausbrooks III, Ligon Goad Troutt (Wilson), Callie Beth Goad, and Tiffany Ausbrooks; and 5 great grandchildren, Isabella Sue Baker, Austin Thomas Baker, Ansley Allen Troutt, Luke Allen Davis, and Thomas Shrum.
