Obituary of Anette Derryberry Moss

Annette Derryberry Moss, 70, of Paducah, died Friday, April 21, 2017 at Baptist Health-Paducah. Annette was born in Nashville, TN on April 18, 1947 to Jesse Powell Derryberry and Eleanor Virginia Dudley Derryberry. She was a graduate of David Lipscomb University with a degree in graphic art. While living in the Nashville area, Annette was a Senior Art Editor for Lifeway and taught classes and supported the youth ministry at Hendersonville Church of Christ. After moving to Paducah, she was a member of Lone Oak Church of Christ and former owner of Ethan Allen Design Center. Surviving are her husband of thirty five years, James Francis Moss III; children, Emily Elizabeth Johnson and Brandon James Moss both of Paducah, KY; granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Johnson of Paducah, KY; and three sisters, Sandra Robertson and Nora Lee both of Paducah, KY and Kay West of Dover, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-4pm at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah and will resume at 12pm Monday at Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2pm at Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN with Paul Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow at Derryberry Family Cemetery near Spring Hill, TN.
