Maynard Keith, age 70 of Gallatin, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017. Funeral Service will be Monday, June 5th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Doyle Farris officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Strong, Don Fuqua, Jim Broyles, Scottie Pryor, Charlie Aston, and the Senior Golf Group at Longhollow Golf Course. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Monday, June 5th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Mr. Keith was born September 12, 1946 in Fountainhead, TN, to the late Herman Fowler Keith and Ora Belle Chandler Keith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son George Fowler Keith. He is survived by wife of 47 years, Eva Daughtry Keith; daughters, Karenina Keith Penuel (Scott) of Moultrie, GA and Karla Keith of Gallatin; brother, Herman Franklin Keith (Sue) of Madison; 4 grandchildren, Darian Keith, Drew Penuel, Jordan Penuel, and Carter Penuel; brother-in-laws, Herman Daughtry (Teresa) of Castalian Springs and Terry Daughtry (Gail) of Gallatin; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Keith served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from TVA after 33 years of service and was a member of Hartsville Pike Church of Christ.
