Obituary of Hazel Ann Huckaba

Hazel Ann Huckaba, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 11th at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Bro. Dan Ruffin officiating.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with family serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be Tuesday, July 11th from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Huckaba was born December 6, 1940 in Nashville, to the late John Thomas Bruce, Sr. and Bertha May Buck Bruce.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Herbert Huckaba; son, Christopher Huckaba; sisters, Willie Clements, Mildred Morris, Dean Cherry, Helen Ligon, Mary Graham, and Ethel Winfrey; and brothers, John Thomas Bruce, Jr., William Bruce, and Henry Bruce.  She is survived by daughter, Melissa Huckaba of Nashville; sisters, Dorothy McNeill of Gallatin, Margie Griffin of Gallatin, and Margaret Combs of Indiana; niece and nephew, Roschelle Dixon (Earl) of Gallatin; and several other nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Family Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
