Obituary of Travis Lee Willis

Travis Lee Willis, age 68 of Gallatin, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.  Funeral Service will be Thursday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Heritage Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens, with Jim Ingersoll, Don Harris, David Kane, Seth Moore, Larry Davis, and Kevin Nash serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Willis, the Employees of Bacar Constructors, and Mid-South Chevelle Club.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23rd from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 24th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.

Mr. Willis was born July 7, 1949 in Macon County.  He is preceded in death by father, Richard Willis.  He is survived by wife of 22 years, Martha Kirk of Gallatin; mother, Marie Tuck Shoulders of Gallatin; children, Brittney Jarrett (Kyle) of Mt. Juliet; Brandon Willis of Gallatin, Stacey Thompson (Stacey) of Gallatin, Rodger Willis (Jennifer) of Portland, Randy Willis (Sherry) of Portland, Brian Kirk of Gallatin, Christy Baker Puckett of Kentucky, and his loving dog, Rebel “Reb Reb” Willis of Gallatin; brother, Rickey Willis of Gallatin; sister, Margie Faye Lillard (Billy) of Gallatin; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be submitted at familyheritagefh.com.  Alexander Heritage Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
