Obituary of Richard Victor Shields

Richard Victor Shields, age 71 of Gallatin, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017.  There will be a memorial service at a later date.  Mr. Shields was born September 17, 1946 in Meadville, PA to the late Ralph Victor Shields and Arabelle Green Shields.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Michael Davis; and sister, Sandra Ferresse.  He is survived by wife of 48 years, Delores Davis Shields of Gallatin; sons, John Davis (Holly) of Norfolk, VA, Richard Victor Shields (Patricia) of Richmond, IN, and Tim Rogers of Gallatin; daughters, Lori Bogart (Stacey) of Erie, PA and Kimberly Stone (Larry) of Richmond, IN; brother, James Charles Shields of Waterford, PA; mother-in-law, Dorothy Bailey of Corry, PA; sister, Linda Malec of Edenboro, PA; brother-in-law, Robert Davis of Corry, PA; sister-in-law, Diane Lindsey (Harry) of Corry, PA; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.  Mr. Shields worked for Tyson Foods in Goodletsville, Gapco for 7 years, and for Cooper Industries.  Online condolences may be submitted at alexanderheritagefh.com.  Alexander Family Heritage Funeral Home has been honored with arrangements.
