Obituary of Mrs. Janice Ann Harrell

Mrs. Janice Ann Harrell, age 71 of Portland, TN. Passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Harrell was born July 8, 1946 in Louisville, KY the daughter of the late Douglas and Nettie Earlene Deasy. Mrs. Harrell is survived by her husband, Wallace Harrell of Portland, TN. Two sons, Pat Harrell of White House, TN and Andy Harrell of Hendersonville, TN. A daughter, Dena Wallwork of Hendersonville, TN. A brother, Wayne Deasy of Indiana. Five grandchildren; Sara Harrell of Chattanooga, TN, David Harrell of White House, TN, Megan Burnley of Portland, TN, Samantha Harrell of Hendersonville, TN and Savannah Burnley of Hendersonville, TN. A niece, Nicole Deasy of Knoxville, TN and a cousin, Betty Wiseman of Brentwood, TN Along with her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Deasy of Glasgow, KY. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January16, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Garden. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 Am until service time Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
