Obituary of Mr. Edward "Eddie" Collon Sanders

Mrs. Edward "Eddie" Sanders, age 67 of Portland, TN. entered into rest Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his home in Portland, TN. Mr. Sanders was born May 31, 1950 in Lake County, TN. the son of the late James Henry and Leacy Edmonson Sanders. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Patricia Faye Sanders of Portland, TN. Two sons, Michael Sanders and Gary Sanders (Teri) both of Portland, TN. A sister, Shirley Doll of Portland, TN. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Eddie was of the baptist faith. He was preceded in death three sisters, Edith Robinson, and Lanelle Armstrong, and two brothers, Curtis Jones and Omer Burpo. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM and from 9:00 AM to service time Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Sanders, Gary Sanders, Dillon Sanders, Randy Sanders, Gary Sanders Jr. and Joshua Sanders.
