Obituary of Mr. James Kent Renfro

Mr. James Kent Renfro, age 29 of Portland, TN., passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at the TriStar ER in Portland, TN. Mr. Renfro was born December 16, 1987 in Davidson County, TN. Kent is survived by his mother, Debbie Englett (Tyler) of Portland, TN. A brother, Brent Renfro of Portland, TN. Grandparents; Ron and Sarah Renfro of Portland, TN., Bonnie Bever of Portland, TN., and Reatha Trent of Gallatin, TN. A great grandmother, Pearline Renfro of Portland, TN. A step-sister, Macy Wolt of Nashville, TN. Along with several nieces and nephews. Kent was preceded in death by his father, Kenny Renfro and his grandfather, Charles Bever. Kent was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Crowder and John Catron officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
