Obituary of Mrs. Kimberly Morris Whitefield

Mrs. Kimberly Whitefield, age 53 of Portland, TN., passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Whitefield was born March 14, 1964 in Portland, TN. Mrs. Whitefield is survived by her husband, Carl Whitfield of Portland, TN. A daughter, Ashley Whitefield of Portland, TN. Her mother, Irma Russell of Portland, TN. Her father, Russell Morris of Portland, TN. A brother, Gary Morris (Rita) of Portland, TN. A sister-in-law, Phyllis Morris of Cottontown, TN. Kim grew up in Portland, TN and took a job with the state of Tennessee as an auditor with Internal Revenue after graduating from MTSU. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Morris and was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Trevor Keefe, Fred Ovetti, Dylan Carr, Bryan Freeman, Daryl Davis and Donald H. Whitefield.
