Obituary of Mrs. Frances Gail Carter

Mrs. Frances Gail Carter, age 63 of Portland, TN., passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mrs. Carter was born July 30, 1954 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Edward and Frances Nuckols. Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, David Carter of Portland, TN. Two sons, John Andrews of Portland, TN and Steven Andrews (Mo) of Lafayette, TN. Two brothers, Randy Nuckols (Shirley) of Portland, TN and Leon Nuckols (Dale) of Westmoreland, TN. Two sisters, Sue White (Barry) of Rock Bridge, TN and Sandra Jones (Larry) of Lafayette, TN. Four grandchildren; Dustin Andrews, Stephanie Andrews, Taylor Andrews and Whitney Andrews. A great grandson, Nathaniel. Gail was preceded in death by her son, Albert Lee Andrews Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Monday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
