Obituary of Mrs. Anita Lyn Spencer

Mrs. Anita Lyn Spencer, age 70 of Portland, TN., passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Signature Health Care in Portland, TN. Mrs. Spencer was born September 7, 1946 in Hohenwald, TN. Mrs. Spencer is survived by two sons, Douglas Scott Spencer (Jamie) and Bill Allen Spencer Jr. A brother, William E. Rochelle Jr. (Sarah). Her mother, Mattie Eva Brewer Rochelle. Five grandchildren; Gabrielle Brooke Spencer (Ryan), Melody Lauren Holder (Jacob), Rebecca Lyn Spencer, Dalton Jones and Payton Jones. Six great grandchildren; Zayden Levi Spencer, Jordan Wayne Hines Jr., Elizabeth Holder, Bella Holder, Jacob Holder and Camden Kirby. A nephew, Kevin M. Rochelle and a niece, Ginger M. Wright. Lyn was a member of Brush Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her father, William E. Rochelle, a grandson, Brandon Scott Spencer and a niece, Sheri L. Rochelle. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
