Obituary of Mrs. Ina Mae Gambrell

Mrs. Ina Mae Gambrell, age 89 of Portland, TN, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at NHC Healthcare in Franklin, TN. Mrs. Gambrell was born March 19, 1928 in Castalian Springs, TN. the daughter of the late James Carney and Cammie Mae Williams. Mrs. Gambrell is survived by her daughter, Barbara Legieza VanDyke of Cape Coral, FL. Four sons, Vincent Paul Legieza of Enterprise, AL., James Stanley Legieza of Brentwood, TN., Thomas Lloyd Legieza of Goodlettsville, TN., and Robert Michael Legieza of Portland, TN. Two half sisters, Beverly Mae Gray of Ft. Myers, FL. and Ina Faye Pendergrass of Sheffield, AL. Two step-sisters, Martha Anna Gambrell of Portland, TN. and Brenda Gambrell of Madison, TN. A step son, Ronnie Gambrell of Memphis, TN. 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Gambrell was a member of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at Gilbert Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
