Obituary of Mr. Floyd Russell Conover

Floyd Russell Conover, age 80 of Portland, TN, passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at "The Waters of Gallatin". Mr. Conover was born June 2, 1936 in Adair County Kentucky, the son of the late Russell Conover and Mary Hale Conover. Mr. Conover is survived by his wife, Trudy Conover of Portland, TN. Two daughters, Mary Ann McElroy of Gallatin, TN, Annette (Michael) Carpenter of Gallatin, TN. Two Stepsons Neno Russell of Richmond, VA, Deon Russell of Cottontown, TN. Six Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren. Along with his parents, Mr. Conover was preceded in death by a son, Terry Conover. A daughter, Beverly Conover. Three brothers, James Conover, Calvin Conover and Bobby Conover. One Sister, Ruby Crum. Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at Freedom Church, 1010 Freedom Church Road in Gallatin, TN.
