Obituary of Mr. Chester Rucker

Mr. Chester Rucker, age 78 of Portland, TN. entered into rest on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the TriStar ER in Portland, TN. Chester was born April 20, 1938 in Hart Co., KY. the son of the late Clifton and Lucille Rucker. Mr. Rucker is survived by his wife, Elaine Rucker of Portland, TN. Two sons, Brent Rucker of White House, TN. and Chris Rucker of Portland, TN. Two brothers, Bill Rucker and Roy Rucker both of Munfordville, KY. Three sisters, Marietta Waldeck of Bonniville, KY., Dorothy Crain of Horse Cave, KY., and Virginia Gardner of Louisville, KY. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Rucker was preceded in death by a son, Michael Rucker and three brothers, Johnny, Bobby Ray and Edward "Pete" Rucker. The family has chosen cremation. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Munfordville, KY. Gilbert Funeral Home in Portland, TN is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
