Obituary of Mrs. Julia Flolina White Pirtle

Mrs. Julia Florin White Pirtle, age 90 of Woodburn, KY. formerly of Portland, TN., passed away February 3, 2016 at Hopkins Center Nursing Home in Woodburn, KY. Mrs. Pirtle was born December 25, 1925 in Portland, TN the daughter of the late Robert and Lula Civils White. Mrs. Pirtle is survived by 2 sons, John (Marilyn) Pirtle and David Pirtle both of Franklin, KY. A daughter, Jane (James) Rosdeutscher of Franklin, KY. A brother, Haron White of Portland, TN. 3 grandchildren, Angie (Sam) Shannon, Alicia Bingham and Jared Rosdeutscher. 5 great grandchildren, Mackenzie Fleming, Layla Fleming, Eli Bingham, Sophie Shannon and Emma Shannon. Several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pirtle was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Pirtle. 2 brothers, James Allen White of Indianapolis, IN and Robert White Jr. of Portland, TN. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Portland, TN. until moving to Kentucky a few years ago where she became a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin, KY Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Portland Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
