Obituary of Mr. Richard V. "Pete" Duck
Mr. Richard Vonceil "Pete" Duck, age 80 of Portland, TN., passed away December 13, 2015 at The Medical Center in Franklin, KY. Mr. Duck was born April 19, 1935 in Texas, the son of the late James H. and Vivian Rankin Duck. Mr. Duck is survived by a 3 sons; Jimmy Duck of Marshall, TX, Mike (Vickie) Duck of Jefferson, TX and Richard (Darlene) Duck Jr. of Jefferson, TX. 2 daughters, Janie (Mike) Tullock of Jefferson, TX and Susan (Kyle) Ford of Woodlawn, TX. A brother, James (Joy) Duck. 12 grandchildren; Randy (Bonnie) Duck, Jaden Duck, Alexandra Duck, Ashley (Kyle) Carver, Cassie Tullock, Colton Tullock, Kelsey (Brandon) Belken, Natalie Duck, Christopher (Janna) Duck, Kyle (Katie) Blevins, Kris Ford and Mandy Ford. 16 great grandchildren; Scarlett, Maddox, Jacob, Ciara, Kallie, Avery, Keilan, Kaylee, Trenton, Addison, Annie, Karson, Ryland, Laynie, Jayce, and Hayden. Mrs. Duck passed away as a result of an automobile accident which also claimed the life of his wife, Jneall Duck. He was a member of Franklin Church of Christ in Franklin, KY. and Masonic Lodge #38 in Jefferson, TX. He was the owner of Duck Welding Sales and Service in Nashville, TN since 1978. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Duck Cemetery in Portland, TN. Mark Jamison will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
