Mr. Ronald Ray "Goober" Jones, age 55 of Portland, TN, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. Mr. Jones was a born in Portland, TN and was the son of the late Hubert R. Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Janice Jones of Portland, TN. His mother, Virginia Jones of Portland, TN. 2 daughters; Heather Kuellenberg of Colorado Springs, CO. and Crystal Creekmore of Portland, TN. 1 brother, Freddie (Peggy) Jones of Portland, TN. 3 grandchildren; Jordan Link, Andrew Link, and Alexis Creekmore. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Forrest Creekmore officiating. Burial will follow in Old Brush Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday and from 9:00 AM until service time Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel.
