Obituary of Mr. Michael "Skip" Sullivan

Mr. Michael "Skip" Sullivan, 64 of Portland, TN, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at his home in Portland, TN. Mr. Sullivan was a native of Franklin, TN. and was the son of the late Robert and Edith Sullivan. Mr.Sullivan is survived by his wife, Christy Sullivan of Portland, TN. 2 step-daughters; Susan (Mark) Bandy of Nashville, TN. and Leigh (David) Keller of Acworth, GA. 1 brother, Randy Sullivan of Antioch, TN. 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 nephews; Richie and Brad Sullivan Mr. Sullivan worked for Colson Realty in Nashville, TN for many years. He was also a member of Portland Masonic Lodge #326 where he was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was also a member of Rob Morris Lodge #237 OES, Al Menah Shrine, and a member of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church in Portland, TN. 
 Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Portland Funeral Chapel in Portland, TN. with Bro. Chris Roberts and Bro. Robert Gilman officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Masonic rites will be performed 7:00 PM Tuesday evening at Portland Funeral Chapel.Pallbearers will include; Neal Cunningham, Jim Smart, Wayne Bandy, Johnny Gomer, Andrew Wright, and Mark Phillips. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Masonic Lodge of Eastern Star.
