Obituary of Mrs. Remona Ann Stewart

Mrs. Remona A. Stewart, 80 of Portland, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her home in Portland, TN. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Sumner Co., TN. and was the daughter of the late Sewell and Hester Scott. Mrs. Stewart is survived by her husband, James Stewart of Portland, TN. 1 son, Michael Stewart of Franklin, KY. 1 daughter, Pamela Carver of Portland, TN. 1 sister, Theda Bell Gammons of White House, TN. 1 brother, Prentice Scott of Portland, TN. 1 grandson, Brandon Scott. Along with his parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Carol Carver and a grandson, Jason Dewayne Carver. Mrs. Stewart was a member of Macedonia General Baptist Church in Franklin, KY. 
 Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Portland Funeral Chapel in Portland, TN. with Rev. David Youngblood officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday at Portland Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will include; Dale Scott, Terry Farmer, Stacey and Micky Stewart, Rick Patty and Terry Towe.
