Obituary of Oscar L. Wright

Wright, Jr., Oscar "Buck" L., age 100 of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25th at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Dan Seeley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, June 24th from 4-7pm. Mr. Wright was born March 19th, 1915 to the late Oscar Lafayette Wright, Sr. & Annie Pugh Wright. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Belle McMurtry Wright; infant son, Murray Edmund Wright; sisters, Provie Mae Tippit, and Nell Juanita Wright. Surviving family includes his daughter, Judy Faye Wright Hammock Seeley (James); son, Jerry W. Hammock; grandchildren, Michelle Hammock Newcomb (Chris), Tammy Hammock Dryden (Matt); great-grandchildren, Austen Hammock, Dixie Dryden, Zoe Newcomb, David Dryden, and Daniel Dryden.
