Obituary of Franklin Delano Balch

Franklin Delano Balch, age 81 of Bethpage, passed away Thursday July 2, 2015. Funeral Service will be Wednesday July 8th at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday July 7th from 2:00 -6:00 p.m. and Wednesday July 8th from 12:00 noon until time of service. Mr. Balch was born April 3, 1934 in Nashville, TN to the late George Lescher Balch and Rosa Belle Head Balch. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Ina Marie Balch. He is survived by sons, Lewis Balch (Mary) of Bethpage, Charles Anthony Balch (Jennifer) of Cave City, KY, and Terry Wayne Balch of Westmoreland; brother, George Douglas Balch of Magnolia, TX; sisters Evelyn Gallo of Philadelphia, PA, and Linda LaFontaine of New Smyrna Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
