Obituary of Jo Ann Scruggs

Jo Ann Scruggs, age 68 of Gallatin, passed away Thursday May 14, 2015. Funeral Service will be Wednesday May 20th at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Family Heritage Funeral Home, with Brother Jerry Peace officiating. Interment will be Wednesday May 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Peagram. Visitation will be Tuesday May 19th from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday May 20th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Scruggs was born April 17, 1947 in Muskogee, OK to the late Glenn Williams and Nova Slape Williams. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Richard Dewayne Williams; sisters, Betty Lou Speicher, Glenda Cantrell, and Edna Robinson; and great-grand daughter, Lillian "Lily" Doss. She is survived by husband of 51 years, Robert "Bob" Scruggs of Gallatin; daughters, Bobbie Jo Kulakowski of Gallatin, and Lea Ann Willis (Edward) of Gallatin; sister, Carol Howard of Georgia; 8 grandchildren, Brandy Doss (Jon), Brittany Hood (Jeremy), Ashley Hester (Kurtis), Jodi Jackson (Charles), Robert Wayne Willis, Alex Willis, Carmen Willis, and Kaitlyn Willis; 9 great-grandchildren, Joshua Doss, Jayden Doss, Jax Doss, Kadie Wayne Hood, Jaylon Hester, Laila Jackson, Malakhi Hester, August Jackson, and Sonny Lee Hood.
