Obituary of Jane Wix

Willa Jane Trammel Wix was born in Macon County, Tennessee on January 24, 1941 to the late Henry Horace Trammel and Ida Rulene Hires Trammel. She was one of three siblings born into this union. On May 3, 1959, Jane was married to James Willard Wix, Sr., sharing forty years together and raising two sons, Horace and Junior. Jane worked at the Blouse Factory in Hartsville. Jane loved cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. You could hear Jane as she cooked and worked around the house, singing and humming good old gospel songs. She sang with the Hartsville Quartet for many years and was of the General Baptist Belief. Jane was baptized in 1973 at Sparta, Tennessee by Brother Clark. Jane's husband, James passed on May 20, 1999. Besides her husband and parents; brother, Wayne Trammel, and Great-Granddaughter, Destiny Grace Presley also preceded her in death. Life revolved around family for Jane, she was such a passionate mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. On Monday, March 3, 2014 at the age of 73, the Lord called Jane to her new home. She is now singing her favorite songs "I'll Fly Away" and "I Want Us to Be Together in Heaven" with the Angels. Ms. Jane is survived by; Sons, Horace Wix of Hartsville, TN, and Junior (Julie) Wix of the Cross Lanes Community, Grandchildren, Holly Wix of Hartsville, Amanda (Jeremy) Zickefoose of Lafayette, Ashley Wix of Hartsville, and Sasha Presley of Lafayette, Great-Grandchildren, Braxton Zickefoose, Owen Zickefoose, Brooklyn Wix, Haiden Pope, Will & Lila Pope, Elijah Pope, James Reiter, Seairra Reiter, and Casey Presley, and Sister, Nancy (F.D.)
