Obituary of Alice Audue Gann

Alice Audue Gann, better known as Audue was born on May 22, 1923 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Benjamin Franklin Kelley and Ruth Dickens Kelley. She was married on July 18, 1945 to the love of her life Ernest Odell Gann. They built a life together and raised two children, Roger Dale and Patricia. Audue was employed by Formfit Rogers working as a seamstress for many years, until retiring around 1989. Audue did not sit idle when at home, She loved to can vegetables out of the garden, make fried pies and cook for the family. She also loved to crochet, make clothes, do quilting, and scrapbooking. On July 11, 2009, after sixty-four years of marriage, Ernest passed away. Besides Audues' husband and parents; son, Roger Dale Gann, son-in-law, Therman Miller, Grand-son-in-law, Jimmy Dies, half-brother, Ray Kelley, and step-brother, Ellis Kittrell also preceded her in death. Audue, a sinner saved by grace, loved the Lord and was a member of Sycamore Valley Missionary Baptist Church. When you talk about Audue, you vision her as a caring, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Audue wanted no more in life, than to have her family and loved ones around her. On Monday, March 10, 2014 at the age of 90, the Angels carried Audue to meet the family that had gone on before her. Her sweet smile will be greatly missed, but our loss is Heavens' Gain.
