Obituary of Randy Smith

Randy Houston Smith was born April 26, 1971 in Floyd County, Georgia to William Houston Smith and Sarah Alice Thomas. He was one of two sons born to this union. Randy was the Manager of a Convenience Store, until his health forced him to quit. He enjoyed sports cars and spending his spare time working on cars in general. Randy spent a lot of time watching Television after becoming disabled. Randy loved his family and especially his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph E. Thomas and Euna Thomas, and James William Smith. On February 18, 2015, at the age of 43, the Lord called Randy to his new Heavenly home. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends. Randy is survived by; Mother, Alice Thomas of Lafayette, Father, William Smith of Harriman, Brother, Adam (Ruby)Smith of Lafayette, Grandmother, Alice Frances Smith of Dalton, Georgia, seven nieces and nephews, also survive. Funeral Services for Randy Smith will be conducted Saturday, February 21st, 2015 at 11 am from the Alexander Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN with Reverend Landy Presley officiating. Bruce Huntsman, Justin Samples, Jerry King, Tim Honeycutt, Nick Tiller, Patrick McCormick, Steven Troutt, and Ricky Vance served as Pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Lafayette City Cemetery.
