Obituary of Curtis Leroy William Moore

Curtis Leroy William Moore, was born on June 22, 2005, in Gallatin, Tennessee to Jennifer Michelle Moore. He was a student at Central Middle School here in Lafayette. Curtis was a boy that loved to play video games. He liked playing with his sisters, sleep overs, and riding the lawn mower. Even though Curtis battled a heart and lung disease his entire life, he always had a smile on his face and always made everyone else smile. Curtis was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Virgil Hodges and Great-Grandmother, Effie Prater. On Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the age of ten years, seven months, and twenty-two days, Curtis was called to his eternal home. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Curtis Moore is survived by; Jennifer Moore; Sisters, Vanessa Moore and Ashley Swindle; Grandmother, Dora Welch; Grandfather, Wess Welch; Uncles, Scotty Welch, Marcus Harris, Joe Clark, and Micky Coleman; Aunts, Barbara Welch, Tammy Likens, Debbie Coleman, and Jessica Clark; Step-Father, Patrick Williams; Step-Sister, Leslie Rogers; and Step-Brother, Ricky Williams. Funeral services for Curtis Moore were conducted on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Shrum and Reverend Tony Whittemore officiating. Interment followed in the Haysville Cemetery.
